The New SD64

Welcome to the new residents of SD64! We are excited to have you join us.

[info_box]Note that we have a new clickable and zoomable map of SD64 available![/info_box]

The court’s redistricting plan has been distributed and SD64 looks quite a bit different than it did yesterday. We have lost some of the ward 1 precincts we used to have, and gained portions of ward 4 all the way up into Saint Anthony Park. Here’s a general map.

New SD64

Keep an eye on the legislative GIS page for details. It appears the court has split existing Saint Paul precincts, which will make it a bit harder to figure out exactly who stays and who leaves SD64. For now, it looks safe to say that Erin Murphy remains in 64A and Michael Paymar remains in 64B.

It looks like SD64 is losing parts of 1-1 and 1-2 to SD65. We keep 1-7 and 1-13. We gain parts of 4-1 and 4-2, the rest of those to go to SD66. We gain all of 4-3 and 4-8. Here is a map that overlays the new SD64 on the current Saint Paul precinct map.

Note that the new boundary between 64A and 64B also splits precinct 3-13. All these split precincts will require some extra work on the part of credentials for the upcoming convention.

You may want to take a look at MPR’s redistricting map which allows you to enter your address and see which districts represent you.
