Pre-convention Committees meet Saturday, 2/10

Initial meetings of pre-convention committees will be Saturday 2/10, 10am. No RSVP necessary, just come if you are a member or alternate to one of the committees.

They will meet at SEIU Healthcare Minnesota, 345 Randolph Ave. Suite 100.

Directions: Go to the intersection of Shepard Road and Randolph Ave. Follow Randolph off Shepard down towards the river. After passing the old power plant, turn left onto James Ave and then immediately turn right into the parking lot behind the sign that includes SEIU Healthcare Minnesota. Drive to the end of the parking lot for SEIU Healthcare Minnesota.

Nominations Open for Business

Do you want to get involved with the SD64 DFL? Would you like to be an officer, director, or delegate to the State Central Committee or 4th Congressional Committee? Position descriptions, questionnaires, and interview dates are all available on our Nominations Committee page. Please check it out. These are the positions you will be voting on at our 2016 Convention, so take a look even if you don’t intend to step forward for one of these yourself.

SD64 DFL Needs You!

Senate District 64 is looking for more than a few good women and men to help us elect a new legislator in 64B, and ensure Erin Murphy, and the statewide DFL candidates get reelected. We’d love your help in a variety of roles – officer, director, CD4 Director or State level director. he process is simple – just fill out a screening form. If you’ve you’re new to volunteering with us, we’ll do a brief 115 minute screening interview. Experienced volunteers will go through an abbreviated process. The Nominations Committee has released the questionnaire for people interested in positions with the SD64 DFL over the next two years. The form is available in Word format here, and we aim to have a PDF version available soon in pdf format here. We hope you’ll apply for a position; the DFL can’t exist without committed volunteers. Nominations Committee meeting Tuesday, 2/25

We want you to run for a position within the SD64 Executive or Central Committee! Go to for information on all of the elected positions (this website will be updated to reflect information for the 2014 Convention but the job descriptions will remain the same). If you are interested in running for one of the positions please fill out the questionnaire (available here and submit it to Please direct any questions to that email address as well.

The next meeting of the Nominations Committee will be on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. in at Carondelet Village, 525 Fairview Ave. S. , St. Paul, MN 55116.
Directions: From Randolph (which is two lights south of Grand) and Snelling (there’s a gas station and Walgreen’s), go west (between the gas station and Walgreen’s) one mile to the next light (S&S Hardware and two coffee shops), which is Fairview and Randolph. Turn left, and the next right is Carondelet Village, 525 A (there is a sign to that effect), drive in the curvy driveway. There is a parking lot, or if the lot is full, there is always parking on the street within a couple of blocks. Entrance is under the big canopy entrance within the U-shape “courtyard” of the buildings.

Pre-Convention Committees Meeting on Saturday, 2/8

Initial meetings of all convention committees will be at Macalester College (1600 Grand Ave. Old Main Hall) this coming Saturday 2/8, 9:30am. Old Main is at the heart of the Macalester Campus. These committees are: Arrangements, Credentials, Nominations, Resolutions, and Rules & Constitution.
