Thanks for making this event a success. 2010 was a bruising session. However, Erin Murphy’s leadership was a highlight for many of us. Look forward to connecting with all of you.

We will need approximately 45 volunteer shifts filled over the course
of the Convention. We are asking each volunteer to commit to at least
one shift, however there may be a need for people to work multiple
shifts as well (we are hoping to avoid this). There are still a few
details to be finalized, however we have identified a number of key
areas where volunteers can be of assistance: Registration, Tellers,
Refreshments, Candidate Wrangling, and Tabling.

Registration- We expect to have more than 200 young people will
attend and participate in the convention. Most of them
will arrive in the first two hours, so we will need more help during
that time.

Volunteers Needed:
6 people from 8:45am-11:00am
3 people from 11:00am-2:00pm.

Tellers- We will need people who have a keen eye, especially those
with previous Teller experience, to assist with accurate counts for
the mock-walking sub-caucus and the Officer Elections.

Volunteers Needed:
7 people from 11:00am-12:00pm
7 people from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Refreshments- We plan on having food available for attendees that we
will need some help serving.

3 people from 8:45am-11:00am
5 people from 11:00am-2:00pm
3 people from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Candidate Wrangling- We will have 10 Gubernatorial Candidates and 6
Congressional Candidates speaking during the Convention, and are in
need of volunteers to help direct them to where they need to go.

Volunteers Needed:
5 people from 11:30am-2:30pm.

Tabling- There will be a number of elected officials, other candidates
and local progressive groups who will be tabling in the lunchroom.
Volunteers will be asked to help with set up as well as crowd control.
