Attention Flying Squad! 7/24

The Flying Squad will be door-knocking for Mike Obermueller in 38B on Saturday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Let’s do everything we can to keep a tough seat in DFL hands!  It’s going to be a great time, so please join us.  (And a prize to the first person who emails with the correct answer as to why this district is particularly special.)

The Flying Squad will meet at Erin Murphy’s house (898 Osceola Avenue) beforehand and carpool together.  For time details and to RSVP, email Adam Chelseth at flying@sd64dfl.org.

Barbeque and Central Committee Meeting, 6/9

Our June meeting will be at Erin Murphy’s house (898 Osceola Avenue) at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 9th, and will be light on the parliamentary procedure and heavy on the party!

We hope to see all of you there, and please bring neighbors, friends, and anyone else who would like to get involved in DFL events. This is a great, low-pressure way to introduce new people to the party, and a great chance to catch up!
Please remember to rsvp, we need to have an appropriate amount of food, if you are planning on attending, please RSVP rsvp@sd64dfl.org.

The event is Tuesday, June 15 from 5:30-7:30pm at the home of Kristin Beckmann and Robert Richman, 867 Fairmount Avenue (3 blocks south of Grand and Victoria).

Thanks for making this event a success. 2010 was a bruising session. However, Erin Murphy’s leadership was a highlight for many of us. Look forward to connecting with all of you.

Gubernatorial Forum, 12/7

Senate District 64, Congressional District 4, and the Macalester Dems invite you to a gubernatorial forum on Monday, December 7. All 10 DFL candidates have been invited to share their views on issues affecting the City of Saint Paul and the State of Minnesota.

Monday, December 7
7-9pm
Weyerhauser Memorial Chapel, Macalester College

The chapel is located at the corner of Macalester Street & Grand Avenue.
We hope you can join us for this important discussion.

UPDATE: Please note that parking is quite limited at Macalester. The forum will be in building 26 on this map of the campus, which also shows the (very limited) parking available on Macalester Street one block south of Grand, one block north of St. Clair. We recommend you consider Metro Transit bus 63 on Grand or bus 84 on Snelling, each stop within a block of the chapel.

Prepared and paid for by the Senate District 64 DFL. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
